[WHITE PLAINS, NEW YORK] – April 23, 2026 – OnMed, the leader in hybrid healthcare, today announced that the OnMed CareStation™ has been named a Gold Winner in The 24th Annual American Business Awards®, the United States’ premier business awards program.
OnMed’s Gold Stevie® Award in the Healthcare Technology Solution category recognizes the OnMed CareStation™ for delivering personalized, patient-first healthcare to communities nationwide. It was one of the few selected in a pool of more than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes. Judges highlighted its ability to deliver comprehensive care at scale, bridging critical gaps in the healthcare system as standout qualities.
“This recognition is a reflection of the communities the OnMed CareStation serves every day,” said Karthik Ganesh, CEO of OnMed. “We built the CareStation to solve the fundamental problem that 120 million Americans lack access to reliable healthcare, and the traditional system alone cannot close that gap. The Gold Stevie Award validates not only the technology, but the belief that access is a right, not a privilege, and that innovation can make that a reality.”
The patented 8×10 foot CareStation, known as a “Clinic-in-a-Box”, is a tech-enabled, AI-powered, and human-delivered platform that blends the comprehensiveness of traditional in-person care with the rapid scalability of telemedicine. Connecting patients with licensed clinicians in real time via a built-in 55-inch screen, the CareStation is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, including a digital stethoscope, pulse oximeter, hi-definition camera, and thermal scanner. During a single visit, patients can receive a diagnosis, a personalized care plan, and an e-prescription, with no appointment, in 240 languages. From contract to deployment, a CareStation can be fully operational in as few as 30 days.
Today, OnMed CareStation™ deployments span seven states and Puerto Rico, located across homeless shelters, community centers, universities, employer campuses, and correctional settings. 80% of users report having no primary care physician, and patient satisfaction averages 4.96 out of 5. 82% of patients are treated within the CareStation without needing redirection to a specialist, urgent care, or emergency department, delivering first-touch resolution that improves outcomes and reduces downstream costs.
This award follows a year of sustained momentum for OnMed. The CareStation was recently named one of Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies 2026, a Silver Award Winner in the Edison Awards, a TIME Best Invention 2025, and recognized on the Inc. 5000 and Inc. Best in Business 2025 lists, among others.
“Organizations across the United States continue to set a high standard for innovation and performance,” said Stevie Awards President Maggie Miller. “The breadth and quality of nominations submitted to the 2026 American Business Awards reflect a dynamic and competitive business environment, where organizations are finding new ways to drive growth, deliver value, and make an impact. We congratulate all of this year’s Stevie Award winners and look forward to celebrating their accomplishments at our June 9 awards ceremony in New York.”
